Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and Negombo
Begin with an airport pickup and transfer to your chosen accommodation in Negombo. Keep the remaining time open for rest after your flight. Your arrival time determines what is comfortable on the first day, rather than committing to sightseeing before you have settled in.
Overnight destination: Negombo.
Day 2: Negombo to the Sigiriya area
Travel to the cultural triangle and settle into your accommodation. Discuss any additional visits in relation to the day’s timing. The focus is on reaching your base comfortably and preparing for the cultural visits planned for the following day.
Overnight destination: Sigiriya area.
Day 3: Sigiriya and surrounding visits
Spend the day on selected cultural visits around Sigiriya. The order of the programme and walking requirements should suit the people travelling. Agree the places you most want to see and leave enough time for those visits instead of adding an unnecessary number of stops.

Day 4: Continue to Kandy
Travel to Kandy with agreed stops on the journey. Leave time for an introduction to the city or a relaxed afternoon after arrival. The choice depends on your interests and the day’s travel, with guiding arranged according to the service included in your quotation.

Day 5: Kandy to Nuwara Eliya
Continue through the hill country to Nuwara Eliya. A tea-related stop can be considered along the way, with the programme shaped around the agreed journey. Keep room for scenic breaks without assuming a fixed number of visits will suit every group.
Overnight destination: Nuwara Eliya.
Day 6: Nuwara Eliya to Ella
Continue to Ella by road. A train segment can replace part of the journey only when the train arrangements and vehicle coordination have been confirmed. Any luggage handover and meeting point must be agreed before travel; a train ticket is not automatically part of the driver booking.
Overnight destination: Ella.
Day 7: A day around Ella
Choose local sightseeing, a suitable walking activity or a quieter day with time to relax. Access, weather and your group’s interests guide the final plan. The stay provides an opportunity to enjoy Ella without another hotel-to-hotel transfer on the same day.

Day 8: Ella to the Galle area
Make the longer journey towards the coast. Keep additional sightseeing limited on this transfer day and allow the day’s plan to reflect the travelling involved. Reach your chosen accommodation in the Galle area and leave the more flexible coastal time for the next day.
Overnight destination: Galle area.
Day 9: Galle and time on the coast
Choose a visit around Galle or a relaxed coastal day. Discuss whether you need the driver throughout the day or prefer independent time. Any change to retained-driver arrangements should be agreed in the quotation rather than assumed once the vehicle has been booked.

Day 10: Departure transfer
Travel to the airport according to the agreed flight and pickup arrangements. An early flight may require an additional night nearer the airport and a change to this outline. Confirm your flight details so the final departure plan can be reviewed before booking.

Inclusions & Exclusions
The transport arrangement covers the private vehicle and driver described in your quotation, with the stated distance and expense conditions. Accommodation, traveller meals, entrance tickets, activities and guiding are included only when expressly stated.
Train journeys, safari vehicles and other optional activities require separate confirmation. Request a Chauffeur Guide when you would like an agreed guiding service in addition to driving.
Personalise This Itinerary
Extend the coastal stay and arrange the later departure transfer separately, add a hill-country night or reduce the sightseeing programme. A longer stay changes the final duration and quotation; it is not an inclusion silently added to the ten-day outline.
