Additional Distance

If your itinerary exceeds the included 2,300 km:

Private Car: USD 0.50 per km; Private SUV: USD 0.55 per km; Family Van: USD 0.55 per km; Small Group Van: USD 0.65 per km; Group Coaches (16-passenger option): USD 0.70 per km.

Longer 21-day routes can vary considerably depending on whether you add the north, east or additional detours.

Your itinerary should therefore be reviewed before confirmation.

Jaffna & the North

With three weeks available, northern Sri Lanka can be considered as an alternative or extension to part of the route.

Adding Jaffna significantly changes the driving pattern, so it should be built into the itinerary from the start rather than added as a last-minute day trip.

Trincomalee, Nilaveli or Other East-Coast Areas

Depending on your travel season, the east coast may be a better fit than spending all your beach time on the south-west coast.

A three-week tour gives you enough time to consider an east-coast route without rushing.

Do Not Keep the Driver When You Do Not Need Transport

If your 21-day holiday includes several consecutive relaxation days at one beach resort, you do not necessarily need to retain the vehicle and driver throughout those days.
